Made this for the 3-d challenge on Tuesday's at Paper Craft Planet. It's my husband's father's day "card". I just thought the pattern was so cute and had to make it.

3-D Pull Treat Card

Hi, I got in to making these cute pull-treat cards for my son's baseball team. Even though my son thinks they are too cute for big strong 17 year olds. Anyway. I used the scallop punch and circle punch from Stampin Up. Also the two star punches are stampin up. The paper is odds and ends from my huge scrap drawer. All were sized to 6.5 x 4.5 inches. The pattern in from 3-D Challenge on PCP from last week. I think this would be a fun Valentine, and also great to hide journaling on a page... I computer generated the sentiment.

Birthday Layout

It was stormy in Iowa last night, and after a great dinner together as a family, I sat down to scrap. I used In My Minds Eye paper for this double layout. Who knew I could pull off flowers and glitter for a guy birthday. But my husband is that sweet. aaaawwww. I stitched alot around the photos, and didn't stamp on this one. i enlarged the "Happy" instead of "birthday." I really like that photo of Dave by the cake. I'm going to fill out the journaling now. Thanks for looking. As always comments encourage, bring a smile, and are always a joy!

I finally got around to my card for the weekend color challenge at CDS. It'a a boy card with dark pink, yellow and orange. I think it's cool, since my youngest just bought a yellow 4 wheeler. The set is from Clear Dollar Stamps, and the paper background was precut that way. Easy shmeezy..

It's getting close to Father's Day, so I made up this card for my dad. I used the Got Tractor set from Clear Dollar Stamps. I will enter this card for a chance to be the June Guest Design Team member. I was excited to use my heat emboss tool to give the white in this card a distressed, old look. I held it over the paper to "brown" it a little. (I'm wondering if I could make smores with that thing!!) The striped paper is Basic Grey Granola. The background that has the old paper look is a paper bag that I got when i bought goodies at a boutique. Cut it up and reusing it. I love the brads that look like pearl shirt snaps, which my dad has always worn. Enjoy being with your dad or remembering him on Father's Day.

CDSWCC20

I am not quite done with field work. But we are getting close. It feels like forever since I have done a challenge. I have been taking lots of pictures, with all the activity. Anyway, jumped right in with the Clear Dollar Stamp Challenge over at PCP , my favorite challenge. Mostly because I love to see what their great design team is up to. Cassie is hosting this week, I love these colors together.
My son's friend lost his grandpa, and this card is for the baseball team to sign. They are going as a team to the visitation. That's the thing about sports, it teaches alot about beinging a good person. My son also feels for others whose grandparents are ill, as his Grandpa is fighting cancer.
Wow this got sad. anyway. heads up. there's still more beans to plant out there, and this farmgirl has got to get back at it. I used Basic Grey Granola paper for this , and the sentiments from Clear Dollar Stamps of course. The inside has the sentiment " Hoping that your Sorrow will soon be replaced with warm memories."

Happy Mother's Day! I'm enjoying some down time. Still in sweats. I made this for the Clear Dollar Stamps weekend Color Challenge. Pink, green and red. I used the cuttlebug to emboss the background. Stitiched the edges. Used the set, Charliene April Showers. I love the duckie. The background is Basic grey, Urban Prairie. Do you know they are designing fabric. (My mom is a fantastic quilter. I used to quilt but a cowgirl can only have one extra hobby.)
I went for seed yesterday, didn't want to go, but guess what happened? I found a new scrapbooking store in Albert Lea Minnesota, called Scrappin On The Go. run by Tami Marti. I love scrappers they are so nice everywhere. wish I could scrap none stop everyday. Except to ride horse.. ahhh dreaming..
